Sorb

Sorb: Generalities

The rowan stands out for its red and ed berries
it is to these that the plant owes its meaning. Popular legends pass the sorb as a lucky plant, able to ward off misery and misfortune. At the base of such a conception there is first of all the color of the berries, which we have said are red,
and therefore of the color to which it is associated
par excellence the ability to reject all sorts of evil. Moreover, the rowan woods are generally considered "synonymous" with abundant
game for the most experienced hunters, who lurk there because
aware of the greediness of the birds of these berries and therefore confident of the greatest possibilities of capture. In this case, the abundance of the hunt is considered the fruit of luck and the rowan is considered the architect.
